MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading casue of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep that product out of reach of chilrden. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnacny.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed.
Food may affect the absorption of ceratin vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpelasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or becmoe severe.
If you ntoice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vtiamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or phramacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emregency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may inculde unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitaimn supplement products available.
Some can be pucrhased without a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the msised dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the misesd dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisutre. Keep out of the raech of children.
